Miscellaneous news -- Making Money with Chrono
Added: March 26, 2008 -- 12:26PM PST
A friend of mine alerted me to a link that compares the money you'd have made today if you bought stock in Apple in 1995 to
the money you'd earn if you sold a sealed copy of Chrono Trigger on eBay, and well..I think we know where this is going.
You can read about the power of the Trigger by clicking on
this Video Game Price Charts link.
Site news -- Four Out of Four Stars
Added: August 10, 2007 -- 8:50PM PST
A Chrono Trigger review written by the always entertaining Tim Rogers has been posted by Action Button.Net, and not to
spoil it or anything, but he gives it four out of four stars. The man is one who knows quality when he sees it - I happen to
share his opinion that Super Mario Brothers 3 is the best video game of all time. Don't even try to argue against it!
You can check the review out over at Action Button.Net.

I found some nice pieces of history today so I figured I'd share. I've put up commercials
I found for Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, and most interestingly the Satellaview. They're
all in Japanese so if anybody can translate them into English for me, I'd really appreciate it.
You can find the commercials at the Chrono Trigger At A Glance,
Chrono Cross At A Glance, and Satellaview
sections, respectively.
Site news -- Fans are the Best

We've got two more fan submissions up tonight. The first is a page of homemade sheet music. Chip Zoller
sent us his transcription of the organ music from the Manoria Cathedral. You can find it at the
Chrono Trigger Sheet Music section of the site. In addition, Dave sent
us a great piece of fanart featuring those creepy mutants from 2300AD. You can view his fanart
over at the Chrono Trigger Fanart section. Enjoy!

Wow, how long has it been? I'm tempted to insert the standard excuse about work and other projects
preventing me from updating here on a more regular basis, and while it's true (three other sites are
being created/updated and various other programming projects), I should still get periodic updates
here. So I guess almost one entire month after the start of the new year, I'll declare that as my
New Year's resolution.
Today, we've got a Schala fanart submission by cupnoodles that's definitely one of the best we've ever
received. Check it and other fanart out at the Chrono Trigger Fanart section.

There's a new section up for your perusal. It's a section devoted to interviews that have been conducted with
those associated with the Chrono series. There are currently about eight interviews, and all are of staff who
worked on the games, but I intend to try to also get interviews from fans who are active in the Chrono community.
You can get your read on by checking out the Interviews section.
Site news -- CT Manga

I've got a nice little goody for everybody today. It's a ten page Chrono Trigger manga that was
included in the player's guide for the game. I have both the original Japanese version and an English
translated version available. Head on over to the Chrono Trigger Manga
section to check it out. More updates should be on the way, pending responses from their sources, so
stay tuned.
Site news -- New Chrono Fanart
Added: March 20, 2006 -- 7:35PM PST
I've put up a new piece of Chrono fanart that was submitted to us by Josh Bramlett. It's a great picture of Chrono
in the midst of casting Luminaire. You can check it and all of our Chrono Trigger fanart over at the
Chrono Trigger Fanart section.
In other news, I'm in the process of building a new server, which is partially the reason why things have been
slow lately. I am not currently hosting the CSD on my own server, but I use my server as a testing ground for
all of my sites, including this one, so the extra horsepower should help me get a lot more done.
I've just learned that Yasunori Mitsuda will be playing "exclusive suites" of Chrono Music at PLAY!, a video game
symphony similar to Video Games Live, an event at which video game music was played in front of a live crowd.
In addition, he'll be sticking around for a meet and greet with those lucky enough to obtain VIP tickets. This is a great
opportunity to meet one of the defining musicians in the video game industry. For more information, you can check out the
official news item at the PLAY! website.
Site news -- New fanart submission
Added: January 14, 2006 -- 2:08PM PST
We recently received an excellent fanart submission of Lucca and Magus by an artist named Tingmeow. Check it out over
at the "Groups" subsection of the Chrono Trigger Fanart section. Thanks for the submission,
Tingmeow! As always, any fanart or fanfic submissions are welcome, and we'll get them up as soon as possible.
Changing subjects, I apologize for the lack of updates lately. The usual excuses of employment and other commitments still
apply, but I've also been having computer problems which have constrained my ability to do a lot of things. With any luck
that will change soon, as I do have new material prepared.
Miscellaneous news -- Translation Update
Added: December 30, 2005 -- 6:38PM PST
This one almost slipped under my radar until I checked my links. It looks like Demiforce has released version 1.4 of
the Radical Dreamers English translation patch. It fixes a few typos, among other things, so you might want to pick
it up just to stay up to date. Demiforce's page can be found by
clicking here, or you can download the patch
directly from this link. Enjoy!
Site news -- Romantic Review
Added: November 5, 2005 -- 12:01AM PST
Hey there, CSD's Silent Partner Prince Io here. After playing through some of Square/Enix's Romancing Saga (being the owner of the household PS2)
I wrote a review of it which
can be found here. Be forewarned: my frustration may osmose itself through your monitor and fasten its
grimy, sweaty hold on your mind. I'd like to extend a sincere thank you to Square/Enix for allowing me the pleasure of raising my blood pressure
to dangerous levels whilst playing this game. It was a real treat.
Along with my review, you can read Panadero's reviews of Capcom's Killer 7 and Namco's Star Fox Assault in the
reviews section. Look for more rantings of this sort in the future as well as some additional content updates to the site.
Site news -- Art Submission
Added: September 11, 2005 -- 3:13PM PST
I've just put up a great piece of Schala fanart from an individual known as Napdogs. It always makes
me happy when we receive fan submissions, so if there's any fanart or fanfics you want up on the site
feel free to let us know. You can find Napdog's art over at the
Chrono Trigger Fanart section.
Site news -- Link Exchange
Added: August 3, 2005 -- 10:15PM PST
As of today, the CSD has its first official link exchange partner! The fine people over at
Galbadia Hotel have a game music related
site that you'll want to check out. Make sure you give them a visit and be sure to tell them
that Panadero sent you!
